Baht Bus Logistics
For each run we make a best guess on how many buses will be required. We also err on the conservative side when pre-ordering buses to avoid additional transport costs for buses that are not needed.
That means if a large number of hashers show up at the last minute, you'll end up waiting longer than usual as we will need to order additional transport.
And if the A-Site is far out from Pattaya there's a good chance you'll arrive after the pack is on trail.
For those reasons we strongly encourage everyone to show up as close to the first bus departure time as possible.
That way we can better estimate if additional baht buses will be required the closer we get to the last bus departure time.
A-Site Mis-Directions
From Pattaya Klang, head North and take the flyover to Hwy 7. After about 9 km, exit Hwy 7 at Hwy 36 towards Rayong. Keep left on the entry ramp and do not join Hwy 36 but after 1.2 km turn left onto the 3240 heading towards Khao Mai Kaew. Continue on the 3240 for 6.3 km and turn left (HHH) just past a row of shop houses. Follow the road all the way up the hill for 700 meters to the "Aussie" A-Site.

Correcting Run Records Policy
To encourage hashers, and hash virgins, to take responsibility for ensuring they have received proper run credit, the deadline for reporting missed runs will be Thursday evening following a run.
As run stats are posted to the website by noon of the Tuesday following the run, hashers will have 2 1/2 days to review the run stats to confirm they've received credit for the run just held.
The reason for the Thursday deadline is we close out the run accounts and run records for a run on Friday mornings.
Corrections entered before Friday help ensure we have an accurate accounting of the run.
It is hoped with this policy in place the number of hashers that pay the signup fee and walk away before having their name marked off on the signup list will be reduced.
This will also eliminate the cases where a hasher comes to us weeks, months, or even years later asking to correct a missed run in the records.
Missed runs can be reported via email to the Webmaster.

PH3 Trail Markings
Paper
Paper will be laid at regular intervals allowing the trail to be followed.
It will either be hanging strips, which will be stapled at the sides of the trail (preferably one side only).
Alternatively, the paper will be shredded and laid on the ground.
Checks
Checks will be 2 sticks (normally painted RED) on the ground in the form of a cross.
A good handful of paper is often left under checks so that the true trail can be marked by those breaking the check.

Once trail is found, these sticks are pointed towards true trail.

Back Checks
If there are any Back Checks, then they will be 2 parallel sticks, normally painted BLUE.

Once true trail is found, these sticks are pointed towards true trail.

False Trails
Any False Trails will be marked in painted sticks on the ground to form the letters “FT” (normally RED)

Walkers / Runners Split
On most PH3 runs the hares go to the effort to lay a walkers trail. The split is usually clearly marked in painted sticks in the form of an “R” and a “W”.

On In
PH3 tradition is to paint "On In" on a dirt surface about 200 to 300 m from the A-Site.
IMPORTANT: Never paint rocks, trees or any man-made surface.
